Dresden - With a deliberate provocation, the far-right NPD in Saxony's state parliament on Wednesday caused a scandal. The eight members appeared in the popular clothing brand Thor Steinar with neo-Nazis in contravention of parliamentary rules.

State President Matthias Roessler interrupted the meeting and demanded by the extreme right, to change clothes. When that did not comply with the request expressed more than once, all Roessler joined NPD deputies for these and three more sessions of parliament in June and July off. The right-wing extremists were still in their seats and left the room only appeared as policemen in order to dissipate.

This was first ruled out completely in the history of Parliament, a fraction of the session. NPD Group chief Holger Apfel had suffered in 2010 a long-term exclusion. His anti-Semitic incitement that time had caused outrage.

The recent provocation was initially unnoticed because all MPs NPD jackets or in the case of deputies wore a suit jacket Gitta Schuessler. When Andrew Storr for the NPD in the debate over the image campaign of the country came to the lectern, he took off his jacket and stood directly in the field of vision so that the President of Parliament. The label Thor Steinar was applied to the back of the T-shirts.

On Wednesday, the right-wing extremists have had a request put on the agenda, under the title "Stop the Fashion Exorcism - no dress code for free people" stood. After the exclusion of the session, she announced loudly swearing at, to prefer the Saxon Supreme Court.

André Hahn, leader of the Left accused the far right of alienating the parliament, to shock and ridicule to try. Passing that this is happening at a debate about the image of the Free State is significant. "It's obvious that hurt precisely those gigs in Saxony's image."

Thor Steinar clothing and other fashion brands, supported by right wing extremists are taboo in the Saxon State Parliament since 2007. Who carries the can be denied access to Parliament. The scheme is based on the rules laid down in the House to impose sanctions against persons who appear "in the dignity of Parliament is not appropriate manner"
